  1. How do I register my child?
    If you are new to the School District of Philadelphia you will need to bring the following documentation with you to the school when registering:
    •  Birth Certificate
    •  Social Security Card
    •  Shot Record
    •  Proof of Address
    •  Drivers License
    •  Utility Bill

    If you are transferring a child who is already attending a Philadelphia Public School you will need to do the following:

    •  Go to the current school and request transfer papers
    •  Bring transfer papers to Wilson with proof of new address
    •  Proof of address
    •  Drivers License
    •  Utility bill

  1. What is Wilson's Emergency closing number?
    Wilson does have an emergency closing number. Please listen to the radio or television for emergency closings. If it is announced that, "All public and Parochial Schools are closed" then Wilson is closed.  You can also check out the School District's Home Page for school closing information.

    Please call the Main Office (215-728-5015) and leave a message.The Office will submit your request to the teacher and the teacher will return your call.
  3. Can I send messages to my child during the school day?
    Wilson does not allow personal messages to be delivered to students during the school day. Make sure your child knows where to meet you or where to go in case of emergencies.
  4. When are early dismissals?
    Early dismissal days are scheduled by the School District of Philadelphia. Please refer to our school calendar for designated days. Your child brings home the school calendar each month.
