Message from the Principal

Welcome to the students, families, and staff of West Philadelphia High School. I know this year will be an exciting and rewarding experience for all of you.  The staff at WPHS has been working very hard throughout the summer to plan for all the new changes you will see at West this year.

During the 2010-11 school year we worked to define the vision of the school and I want to make sure all students, all staff, and all families understand the new vision for West Philadelphia High School:

“We rely on one another because our mutual success is the only option.”

It is my intention that all members of the West Philadelphia High School family live this vision; that we begin to see one another as partners in education, and we work side by side to continue to improve our school.
