About the DOL Grant

University City High School is one 7 schools in Philadelphia to apply for and receive a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor.  The school Turnaround Team, led by Rod Sutton, will facilitate the implementation and evaluation of grant funds.

  1. Create action plans for grant implementation.
  2. Review the progress of activities
  3. Use attendance, testing, and disciplinary data to evaluate whole-school performance under the grant.
