April Teacher of the Month 

Dr. Jillian Inge, Science teacher, Track Coach

Dr. Jillian Inge joined the Roxborough faculty two years ago. Prior to her time at RHS, she taught for eleven years at Edison High School. When she was in college, she did not initially intend to pursue teaching; science was her passion, and she wanted to pursue a career in it. However, before she graduated, she developed a desire to share her passion for science with young people, and to share with them the possibilities of pursuing science in college and career. Ms. Inge currently teaches Physical Science and Environmental Science, and recently earned a doctoral degree in Teacher Leadership. In addition to sharing her passion for science, Ms. Inge has also shared her love of running with the students of RHS. Ms. Inge coaches Roxborough’s track team, and recently helped our athletes place in the top third of all schools participating in the Public League Relays. For all of her contributions to Roxborough – past, present, and future – we proudly recognize Ms. Jillian Inge as April’s Roxborugh High School Teacher of the Month.

April Students of the Month

This month, we are breaking with our Student of the Month tradition and recognizing not one but two RHS students. Juniors Brandi Donnell and Devon Brown have both attended Roxborough High School for the past three years. In this time, Brandi has maintained a 3.85 GPA, and manages to balance an incredibly hectic schedule that includes basketball, softball, and RHS’s biotech program. Although Devon is less engaged in official RHS extracurricular activities, he is passionate about music production and spends most of his free time making music in his home recording studio. Despite obvious surface differences, both of these juniors have accomplished something exceptional: both Devon and Brandi earned proficient and advanced scores on all three Keystone examinations. For all that Devon and Brandi bring to Roxborough’s table, both inside the classroom and outside of it, we proudly recognize Devon Brown and Brandi Donnell as April’s Roxborough High School Students of the Month!
