Our Philosophy
At Powel, we value each student as an individual with unique contributions. We believe that learning is best achieved through a language based social process which nurtures every child.
Our educational goal is to raise the level of student achievement by encouraging children’s natural curiosity and channeling it into exploration and inquiry. Our objective is not merely the competence of our students but also to instill in them a lifelong love of learning and the pursuit of excellence.
Powel School Compact
We, the members of the Powel School community believe that in order for our children to achieve, we must insure that we provide them with a safe, productive environment that supports learning. To that end we, the partners in this process, sign this compact as an acknowledgement of our commitment as a community.
