Message from the Principal

Welcome to our School Website!

Samuel W. Pennypacker Elementary, in cooperation with the Academic Division 7, is a school dedicated to academic excellence.  We inspire our children to achieve and encourage them to implement higher order thinking skills as well as make sound judgments.  Our vision is to provide all students with the educational skills needed to be productive citizens with good character.

All Pennypacker teachers are certified.  Our teachers adhere to the Core Curriculum and engage in continual professional development to ensure that classrooms are standards driven.  We are proud of our success as we achieved Adequate Yearly Progress 7 of the last 8 years. This progress supports that all students are achieving and improving in Math, Reading and Science.

Blended with a dedicated Pennypacker staff is our newly formed Home and School Association.  The Home and School Association strives towards creating a cohesive community school.  Strengthening Families and Breakfast with the Principal are parent programs that enhance parental participation and community partnerships here at the Pennypacker School.

We welcome you to visit Pennypacker Elementary School and observe our expert teachers model Best Academic Practices for our great students.

Wendy Baldwin,

Principal
