Graduation and Promotion Requirements

Grade1: Students must have a  Reading level of G or above, and a Math
level of Basic, Proficient or Advanced (2, 3, 4)

 
Grade 2: Students must have a reading level of L or above, a Math
level of Basic, Proficient or Advanced and a Science level of Basic,
Proficient or Advanced (2, 3, 4)

 
Grade 3: Students must have a reading level of N or above, a Math
level of Basic, Proficient or Advanced (2, 3, 4) and a Science level
of Basic, Proficient or Advanced and participate successfully in a group
multidisciplanary project or service learning project.

 
Grades 4 and 5: Students must achieve a passing grade in Reading, Mathematics and Science

Extracurricular Activities

Moffet School provides many rewarding opportunities outside
the classroom to extend personal growth and experiences.

 
Junior Fire Patrol:

The mission of a junior fire patrol is to assist the Fire Department in educating themselves, their family, their school and community in all fire safety and fire prevention matters.

 
Girl Scouts:

The purpose of the Girl Scouts is to educate students in character development, citizenship skills, self reliance and important life skills. 

 
Fitness Club:

The goal of Moffet's track team is to build strong bodies; as well as, strong minds. Our students will learn the importance of exercise in maintaining healthy bodies.

Chess Club

This intellectual thinking game provides our students opportunities to strategize and construct maneuvers that will enable them to become successful decision makers.
