Message from the Principal Leslie Mason

Welcome to the 2014-2015 school year!

The Thomas Mifflin School is a small school with a family atmosphere. Our school houses students in Pre-Kindergarten through eighth grade. We have approximately 300 students with an average class size of 25 in our K-8 programs and we have 2 pre-K classes that house 40 students.

In addition to the core curriculum, students at Mifflin also take classes in Physical Education, Health, Visual Arts and Instrumental Music. Mifflin School currently has 2 full day kindergarten classes, a learning support program, a school wide behavioral program, sports teams and extracurricular clubs.

Mifflin School also has a relationship with the East Falls Community Council, Philadelphia University, The Big Brothers and Big Sisters Program and Tree Tenders.

Our incredibly dedicated staff, in conjunction with our supportive Home and School Association hopes that you have a successful and prosperous school year!
