Dear Students & Parents:

Welcome to the 2016 - 2017 school year. Our website contains our school rules and policies. Please take time to review this site together with your child to ensure an understanding of Austin Meehan Middle School and what we have to offer.

Supply List

School Supply List 2016-2017

Supplies for 7th and 8th grade

·       Pack of black or blue ink Pens

·       Pack of Pencils/ pencil sharpener

·       Eraser

·       Ruler

·       Pencil case

·       5 Notebooks- One per subject (spiral or composition) for each subject (teacher may suggest additional notebooks or Binders)

·       2 Folders for homework and classwork

·       Colored pencils

·       Pack of crayons

·       Loose leaf paper

·       Graphing Paper

Other suggestions:

·       A pack of AAA batteries for the TI-73 calculators that are provided to the students in math and science. 

·       Tissues 

·       Paper Towels 

·       Copy Paper 

·       Cleaning wipes

·       Hand sanitizer

First Day of school procedures- September 7th

On the first day of school, Wednesday September 7, 2016, school will begin at 8:15 AM. All students will wait for the doors to open at the top of the steps in the front of the building.  At that time (8:15) new 7th grade students will be directed to the auditorium, where they will be called to their new class and teacher.

New 8th grade students will go to their advisory class from last year to be given their new 8th grade assignment.

Any 8th grade new to the building will be directed to go to room 115.

School Hours are from 8:15-3:15
