Our Vision
The McClure School vision is for all students to perform at the proficient and advanced levels in reading, math, social studies and science. We believe that all children can achieve. This will be accomplished through maintaining high expectations for all students, increased academic support for at-risk students and providing a safe, supportive and nurturing learning environment. The diverse backgrounds of our students (linguistic, cultural, racial, ethnic, economic and learning styles) are celebrated and used to enhance their instruction.
Our Mission
The mission of the School District of Philadelphia and the Alexander K. McClure School is to provide a high quality education that prepares, ensures, and empowers all students to achieve their full intellectual and social potential in order to become lifelong learners and productive members of society.
