What’s Happening in Room 120?

We have learned a lot in M.G. class. The M.G. class is a wonderful place to learn new things. Some of the most fascinating things we have done in MG class are Bubble*ology and the Tower of Pasta Problem. While building the pasta tower, we had to use sticky pads, marshmallows, spaghetti, macaroni, straws, a container, and penny nails. We had to design a structure and then test it to see how long it would last before falling down. To do this, we placed a container on top of the tower and added one penny nail at a time. When the structure fell, we counted how many penny nails the container held to determine its strength. During our bubble*ology experiment, we had to test using different objects, materials, and bubble solutions to see the different kinds of bubbles we could make. We have learned a lot so far in M.G. and we are looking forward to learning more! We love MG!
