Mastbaum AVTS is a school defined by a world-class staff and dedicated students and is on a mission towards excellence! We have mastered a successful blending of academics and vocational pathways resulting in an instructional program that will prepare students for the challenges of the twenty-first century. Because we are just off the "El" stop at Kensington and Allegheny in Philadelphia, we are easily reached. Points of pride include: National Honor Society; Award winning Graphic Design program; Nationally recognized Health Occupation Student Association Chapter; PA. State approved programs of study; Industry recognized & approved certifications in Career and Technical Education (CTE); Annual CTE awards celebration; Annual Honors Assembly; Department of Labor Youth Rules Ambassadors; Annual Mastbaum Alumni Day; University of Pennsylvania Distributed Leadership Grant; Mastbaum Accreditation through the “Commission on Secondary Schools of the Middle States Association"; and Member of the “Southern Regional Education Board”.
