Message from the Principal

Dear Mann Families,

The Mann staff welcomes you to the 2009-2010 school year with great excitement. As the principal, I especially look forward to working with all of you as we continue to provide your children with the best possible educational opportunities. Mann takes great pride in providing a safe, orderly and nurturing learning environment for your children along with providing a strong standards based curriculum. School, parents, and students all play a critical role in the academic development of children. We encourage you to stay involved in your child’s education by:

  • Expecting them to reach and exceed the standards for their grade level
  • Meeting with your child’s teacher
  • Knowing what work is expected from teachers and making sure that the assignments are completed
  • Supporting school efforts to develop and maintain student discipline
  • Encouraging perseverance and effort in your child
  • Striving to have your child in school every day and on time
  • Believing that together we can make a difference!

Equally important to having each student reach their maximum potential in academics is for each child to develop positive values and strong character. Strong character is a key quality for success in life. We look forward to working with you as we make your child’s education and safety our highest priorities. We invite you to contact the school with any questions or concerns you may have.

Sincerely,

Michael Smith, Principal
