Message from the Principal

Dear Mann Families, 



The Mann staff welcomes you to the 2009-2010 school year with great excitement. As the principal, I especially look forward to working with all of you as we continue to provide your children with the best possible educational opportunities. Mann takes great pride in providing a safe, orderly and nurturing learning environment for your children along with providing a strong standards based curriculum. School, parents, and students all play a critical role in the academic development of children. We encourage you to stay involved in your child’s education by:

• Expecting them to reach and exceed the standards for their grade level
• Meeting with your child’s teacher
• Knowing what work is expected from teachers and making sure that the assignments are completed
• Supporting school efforts to develop and maintain student discipline
• Encouraging perseverance and effort in your child
• Striving to have your child in school every day and on time
• Believing that together we can make a difference!


Equally important to having each student reach their maximum potential in academics is for each child to develop positive values and strong character. Strong character is a key quality for success in life. We look forward to working with you as we make your child’s education and safety our highest priorities.
