School Closed for Students Tuesday, May 21st all public schools will be closed for students. Teachers will report for professional development sessions.

Congratulations to our Reading Olympics team!--Seven fifth graders under the sponsorship of Ms Peragallo competed at Holy Family University in the Philadelphia Reading Olympics on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 and won 1st Place.We are so very proud of your accomplishments.

Photo ID Required-Please be sure that you have a photo ID available whenever you pick up your child from school.You will be asked to show it at early dismissal, late pick up, or if a Kindergarten teacher is absent.

Please clip, save, and bring to school the box top coupon or the UPC code/beverage cap for the Labels for Education products.  Each floor has a collection box.

If you shop at Acme, ShopRite, Genuardi's, or Food Lion you can register your for Store Bonus Reward card on the eLabels  website eLabelsForEducation.com. and any product points will be automatically added to Lawton's account whenever you swipe your card.

Winter Concert

Please join us for our Winter Concert on Wednesday, December 12th at 9:50AM in the cafetorium. Our students sound amazing!

We are very proud of our accomplishments, including the creation of this site, and hope to share our news, our celebrations, and our updates with you. We also hope to use this site to ask for help when we need it. Our staff and students are grateful for all you do to be sure your children are ready for school. Your involvement in their education may be the single most important factor in school success.

Points of Pride

• We made AYP!
• Lawton School, K-6, added 23 classrooms in a beautiful state of the art addition in September 2008.
• Our students love the new Science lab, Art lab, and Computer lab.
• Our Office entrance showcases our school's history via our 100th Anniversary Mural created in partnership with Network Arts Program.
• We have enjoyed visits from artists, dancers, and Jazz musicians through our participation in Arts in Education.
