What's New

For our Unless Project, our goal was to convince Kellogg's to use deforestation-free palm oil to help all of the animals living in Sumatra survive. To help us with this, we created a blog, a book and a comic book to teach other students about the destructive effects of palm oil cultivation.

We received 456 pledges from the students and staff of Francis Scott Key School to make better choices when buying food and to support companies that will use deforestation-free oil.  Also, we raised $1,635.13 from our many fundraisers and donation drive.

The donated money went towards purchasing a conservation drone that will use a camera mounted on a small plane to show the area where Sumatran wildlife is present.

Our efforts would not have been as successful if not for the support of our school community and Ms. Cruz. Thank you Key School Family.
