Who we are

Charles W. Henry School

 

Charles W. Henry School is a K-8 Philadelphia public School with a student body that is racially and economically diverse.  Henry has 19 general education classrooms and two Autistic Support classrooms for students in grades 1-5.

 

What makes C.W. Henry special?

The Henry school community prides itself in creating a wholistic experience for each child.  The teachers and staff created meaningful and enriching programs both during and after school to foster student creativity, academia, athletics and other extra curricular activities.  

C.W. Henry School also have many community partnerships with area organizations.  We have a fully functioning organic school garden with an outside Farmer to give lessons to classes.  We have four full-time specialist teachers: computer technology, music, art and physical education. We also have a full-time nurse and counselor on site.
