Kindergarten Supply List- 2014-2015

Kindergarten Parents:

We are requesting the following supplies for each student. Please place the school supplies in a bag labeled with your child’s name.  Below you will find two lists – one for home and one for school.  In order for you child to complete many of the homework assignments, we are asking to have some of the following materials readily available.  Please label books and folders with your child’s names.

 For School:

 

  • Book bag large enough to comfortably hold a two-pocket folder
  • Two reams of white copy paper (500 count each)
  • 2 Mead Primary Journal Creative Story Tablet ( or $4.00)
  • 2 two-pocket folders (one for school and one for daily correspondence)
  • One box of Crayola washable markers
  • Two packages of Expo dry erase markers (one thick and one thin)
  • One box of Crayola colored pencils
  • One 8 color set of Crayola washable watercolors
  • One box of 24 Crayola crayons
  • I package of #2 SHARPENED yellow pencils (not mechanical and please no designs)
  • Two Jumbo size Elmer’s glue sticks
  • One bottle of Elmer’s Washable School Glue
  • One box of Ziploc Gallon bags
  • Two containers of baby wipes
  • One package of napkins
  • One roll of paper towels
  • Two boxes of tissues
  • One bottle of liquid soap
  • 1 coloring/activity book for rainy day recess

 

 

Girls – One box of Ziploc sandwich bags, one package of paper plates, scotch tape

Boys – One package of play dough, one package of cups, one box of Band-Aids

 

For Home:

These supplies are to remain at home.

Book Bags:

Please label your child’s book bag with their name and room number. Please check your child’s schoolbag daily and remove all classroom work and school notices. Personal toys, games, etc., are not permitted in school.

 

First Grade Supply List

FIRST GRADE SCHOOL SUPPLY LIST- 2014-2015

PLEASE LABEL THE FOLLOWING SUPPLIES WITH YOUR CHID'S FIRST AND LAST NAME

  • 1 black and white hardback (MEAD) copy books
  • 3 boxes of regular crayons (8 count)
  • 1 fun pad, or coloring book
  • 2 plastic folders with pockets in the bottom
  • 1 large zipper pencil bag (no boxes please, they break easily)
THE FOLLOWING ITMES DO NOT NEED TO BE LABLED:
  • 1 pair of FISKARS scissors
  • 2 large solid glue sticks
  • 1 pack of DRY ERASE markers
  • 1 DRY ERASE eraser
  • 3 packs of 20-24 sharpened #2 pencils
  • 2 large pencil erasers OR a pack of pencil top erasers
  • 1 Large book sock cover
  • 2 boxes of tissues
  • 1 pack of Baby wipes
  • 1 container of liquid anti-bacterial hand soap with pump ( no hand sanitizer please)
  • 1 pack of copy paper
  • 1 pack of gallon size zip lock bags (boys)
  • 1 pack of sandwich size bags (girls)
  • 1 container of baby wipes
  • 1 recent picture of your child with their first and last name
  •    written on the back (will be returned in June)
  • $6.00 for Weekly Reader magazine
  • $10.00 for Home and School membership(covers all children in Hancock/LaBrum)
  • $2.00 for a special class writing journal
