Fourth Grade Supply List 2015-2016

Dear Parents,

Welcome back to a new school year!  We know that your child will have a very challenging and fun year in fourth grade.  Attached is a list of school supplies needed for fourth grade.  Please send them in by Monday, September 14, 2015.   If you would like to buy the supplies at the School Store, please bring in a marble notebook and a sharpened pencil the first day.  Send in the money along with a list of any supplies you want your child to buy and we will see that he/she gets to shop at our School Store.

Please have your child label all of their school supply items with their name and room number. This includes all copybooks, school boxes, coats, hats, lunch boxes, and other personal items.  Our pencils are used by all of the children so; please only send in the yellow pencils.  No character pencils, please.  Also, we would be very grateful if all pencils were sharpened before they are brought to school.

Money for supplies should be brought to school in a sealed envelope with your child’s name and room number on it.  Also, the “Time for Kids” money must be in as soon as possible.  It is a very valuable tool for the children to use to help them keep up with the events going on in their world.

Thank you for your cooperation.  We are looking forward working with your children and to seeing you at our Back to School Night!

Sincerely,

         The Fourth Grade Teachers

Fifth Grade Supply List 2015-2016

 June 2015

Dear Parents,

We just want to take a few moments of your time to say how absolutely thrilled we are to have your child in our room and to welcome you and your youngster to our fifth grade classroom.

We will send another letter at the start of the school year, outlining our goals and expectations for your child.  This letter is to give you a list of the supplies your child will need at the start of the school year. Please have all of the supplies no later than the first day of school, Tuesday, September 8, 2015. Additionally, we are asking that you check your child’s supplies weekly and replenish as needed. It is imperative that your youngster has these supplies from September to June. We are committed to helping each child do his/her best, but that simply cannot happen without your help and the correct materials.

Please feel confident in knowing that we are here to provide your child with the best educational experience possible.  The most successful way for that to happen is for us to work together as a team. We look forward to working with you and your child for a very successful and exciting school year! Have a safe summer.
