The Science Fair

Students investigate various topics in biology, chemistry, math, and physics.  The investigations are presented in the city’s Carver High School Science Fair.  Those awarded 1st, 2nd or 3rd prize go to the Delaware Valley Science Fair, where they compete with schools in the three states.  In 2003, out of 11 entries we had seven winners:  three honorable mention, one 3rd place, one 2nd place, and one 1st place.  In previous years the awards have included a four-year scholarship to Temple University "Students for Environmental Awareness".
