Physical Education
Contest at GHS
The Physical Education department holds an annual event called Contest in which all students can participate. An 83 year old tradition, where the 9th & 12th grade (Gold) compete against the 10th & 11th grade (Blue) in volleyball, floor hockey, dance, cheerleading, badminton, step dance, and rope jumping. These activities start in January and culminate with a final day on the last Thursday in February.
