The goals of the Parent Teacher Daughter Association, also known as the PTDA of the Philadelphia High School for Girls:

1. Increasing membership with a focus on involving parents.
2. Increasing student support.
3. Increasing and expanding ways of effectively communicating with parents.
4. Fundraising to support students and the school.
5. Sponsoring programs for parents, students and staff.

The PTDA needs the help of every member of the Girls’ High community (see News & Events and our “Contact us” link for our activities and events). The Girls’ High Community includes parents, teachers, and students. Most recently we have supported the, graduating seniors, token gifts for special needs of the school and students, teacher appreciation gifts, Flat Screen TVs for the cafeteria, Teacher Appreciation receptions in the fall and the spring.  These are but a few supports given directly to or on behalf of our daughters.

Our General Membership meetings are held every month at 7:00PM in the school’s library.  It is not too late to join, our membership fee is currently $10.00.
