Message from the Principal

    Welcome to our Fox Chase website.  Fox Chase Academics Plus School is a high achieving K-5 elementary school located in the Fox Chase section of Northeast Philadelphia.   We have consistently made "AYP" in accordance with the "No Child Left Behind Guidelines."  Our staff is highly qualified and committed to helping all students reach their full potential socially, academically, and physically.  We are very proud of our school and the many programs that are implemented daily.  We are a diverse population of students, families, and staff members.

Inclement Weather Alert

 

 Due to inclement weather or other emergencies, it may be necessary to cancel school for the day or have a delayed opening.  Please tune in to the local news or vist the School District of Philadelphia's website.  You can also call the District's Parent Hotline at (215) 400-INFO (4636).

 

In the event of a delayed opening, all schools and early childhood programs will open two hours late.  Yellow bus transportation will run on a two-hour delay.  School trips on that day will be canceled.  Breakfast, lunch, after school programs, and athletics will not be affected.
