Message from the Principal

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I am excited about the upcoming PSSA.  We have the test scheduled for April 11 throught the 29th in English/ Language Arts, mathematics, and science. More detailed information will be given in the letters we send home. Please encourage all the students to read at least 20 minutes every night so they can lead and succeed. Also, our FLASH after school testing preparation program is going on until Thursday, April 7th. Please encourage your students to attend.

Our Spring Break is March 22 through March 27, 2016. Please enjoy the break and encourage all students to come to school when we return on Monday, March 28, 2016. Our attendance rate is 94%. We must reach 96% to be at the best level for student success. If we can average 96% for April, we will have soft pretzels for all the students. Let's all come to school, every day, on-time and in uniform!

Our website is full of  information you might need about Feltonville Intermediate, including uniform policies, Student Code of Conduct, Attendance Policy and required school district forms.

We are having a very important Budget and PSSA Meeting on Tuesday, April5th at 9:30 a.m. Please join us in the multi-purpose room. Your input is welcome and very important to the budget/school improvement process.

Our Faculty and Staff are ready to work with you and your child. We are all working hard teaching the curriculum, preparing for assessments, and remaining focused on our district outcomes of creating self directed learners, accountable citizens and effective communicators.

I am excited to be your Principal and I am commited to helping your children succeed. I am available to help with any questions or concerns about your child's education. Please join us on Monday , April 11th, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. for a School Community Meeting at City Hall.  Plus, on Thursday, March 17th at 8:00 a.m., we will have fresh fruits and vegetables for sale at our farmstand right in front of our building. Please stop by.

We are now having oudoor admission procedure.  All students will be met by their teachers in the morning, then enter our school at 8:25 a.m. Please do not bring your children to the school grounds until 8:15 a.m. The exit will be from the third grade door for gr 3 & 4, and from the main entrance for grade 5. Thank you for your excellent cooperation.

Sincerely yours,

Dr. D. J. Anticoli
