Attendance and Lateness

Attendance in school is mandatory and any absence must be excused with a written note signed by the student's parent or guardian.  Truant students will be picked up from the street and processed by the Philadelphia Police Department.

Students are expected to arrive at school on time and enter the building at 8:15 a.m.  Students arriving after 8:15 are considered late and must check in at the front desk to receive a late slip.  Arriving on time is a requirement not only in school, but also in the world of work.  Students should establish this good habit of being on time, now.

Dress Code

Uniforms are required for every student every day.

• Boys :
• Shirt - navy blue, collared, 3 button
• Pants - khaki style, tan color
• Girls
• Shirt - navy blue, collared, 3 button
  
• Pants/Skirts - khaki style, tan color
• Shoes
  
• Any closed toe shoe
• NO sandals, NO beach shoes
• Physical Education (Girls & Boys):
  
• Tops - white or navy blue
• Bottoms - navy blue sweatpants or shorts
