Have Some Fun - Join A Group After School

Edison has a variety of clubs and organizations.  Explore something different, meet new people, and have a great time.

  • C-CAP - Ms. Sham & Mr. Saddington
  • DECA - Mr. Dawson - DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America), an association of marketing students, is a career and technical organization designed to enhance a specific career objective in marketing, management, business, or distribution. Any student enrolled in a marketing or business education course is eligible for membership in local, state, and national DECA. The DECA tagline is: "Developing Future Leaders in Marketing, Management and Entrepreneurship."
  • Drama Club - Ms. Facciolo - The Edison Drama Club was created in September 2008 with the ultimate goal of performing a spring show for the Edison family and the surrounding community. Ms. Facciolo hopes that the drama club will remain an important and supported program at Edison for many years to come!
  • EARTH Squad Robotics - Ms. Ehrlich
  • FBLA - FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) is a national student organization for business students who are preparing for careers in business. Students' daily educational experiences and involvement in leadership prepare them for an understanding of the world's varied economic systems. The organization, through its entrepreneur activities, prepares students for leadership, communication, integrity, and life challenges. Its ultimate goal is to prepare young men and women who will help America remain a world leader.

  • Mock Trial / Debate Team - Mr. Price
  • National Honor Society - Ms. Garcia
  • Project LOGRO - Ms. Lozada - Project LOGRO (Learning Opportunities for Graduation, Retention, and On-the-Job Training) is an enrichment program designed to promote academic excellence and good citizenship. Sophomore students are recommended by their teachers and have to complete a rigorous application and interview process.
  • Red Cross Club - Ms. Hyman & Ms. Skari - The Red Cross Club at Edison High School is open to any Edison student who has an interest in helping others. The club conducts an annual winter drive by collecting hats, scarves, gloves and earmuffs.  The club members take all donations to Covenant House.  Another drive for toiletries is planned in the near future. The club also participated in World Aids Day.  The members worked together to create a poster for AIDS and won second prize among the other high school Red Cross clubs. In the future, the club will be trained and certified in CPR and First Aid.  Disaster preparation and training is also scheduled for future events.
  • Skills USA - Ms. Adens - The mission of Skills USA is to develop employability, participation, and quality management skils. As students develop these occupational skills, they strive to become world-class workers and responsible citizens. Meetings are held every Tuesday and Wednesday during advisory in Room 173.
  • Student Government Association - Ms. Surginer - The Student Government is the representative body for our students. Officers are elected in the fall. In October, students will have the opportunity to select Student Government representatives from their advisory. Representatives are responsible for carrying communication between the advisory and the Student Government. Officers discuss concerns, ideas, suggestions, etc. with the faculty sponsor and the administration.

  • Instrumental Music - Mr. Lawler - Edison High School will be offering music lessons in Room 161 on all band and orchestra instruments including:

    Upon learning to play, we will begin forming a concert band, orchestra, drumline, and Latin jazz band.
