Message from Principal Katherine M. Carter

 

 

As we embark on a new academic journey, I would like to extend my warmest and heartfelt welcome to all of my students, parents and staff.

 

This year we will see many changes; changes in our curriculum, as well as our climate. The Creighton Community has worked diligently over the summer to prepare for the new, more rigorous academic plan set forth by the District and we expect to see great results on the Benchmark, Acuity and PSSA.

 

As far as the climate, well we have worked hard to enhance that too. Last year we saw the reinstitution of the Peer Mediation Program. We have a highly trained staff of teachers and students leading the program. The program was so successful last year that we expect nothing but great results this year that will lead to a safer learning environment.

 

So again, I welcome you back to a most exciting year.
