Parents as Partners

The Home and School Association is formed by a group of parents officially recognized by the School District of Philadelphia. It is the goal of the Home and School Association to raise funds that support the activities of the children and staff of Charles Carroll High School. Some of the activities that we support are field trips, student government, school dances and proms, no uniform days, and the Career Fair at the end of the year. The Career Fair that we run each year allows the students to meet professionals in the community.

 

The Home and School also runs a pretzel sale and bake sale every Monday, Wednesday and Friday during lunch periods. Some of the fundraisers that we organize to raise funds throughout the year are a candy sale, Bachman Train Set Raffle, AVON cosmetics, and a candle sale. The Home and School Association meets the second Wednesday of each month in the cafeteria from 6pm to 7pm. It is at this time that we discuss and current affairs in the schools and any upcoming events.

 

WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS TO HELP RAISE MONEY AND TO HELP WITH THE VARIOUS ACTIVITIES THAT WE SUPPORT.
