Message from the Principal
Dear Students, Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to the Charles Carroll High School. It is our hope that the time you spend here will be rewarding and filled with much success.
We pledge to provide you with an academic environment where learning can flourish. We will provide the instruction and guidance required to enable you to succeed and reach your goals.
We also pledge to communicate to our parents and guardians in numerous ways throughout the school year. We welcome your participation and your suggestions to our Home and School Association, School Council and other programs. One of the best ways to support your student and to know what is happening at the school is through membership in our Home and School Association.
It is our philosophy and belief that every student can reach their full potential if the right opportunities and supports are in place. We are proud that last year's students increased scores 16% in English and 3% in math. With the full support of the staff, parents and students, we aim to double those numbers this year. Together, our school, students, and families can make this an exciting and successful year.
We are proud to be a member of the Philadelphia School District. The entire staff at Charles Carroll is proud to be an example of our district's motto: "Every Child at Every School Everyday, on Time, for 180 Days. No Excuses."
Sincerely,
Joyce A. Hoog
