September 24 is School Spirit Day AND Back to School Night.

The Eagles' Playground of Hope

Bryant Elementary is pleased to announce that we have had an Eagles make over!  Our new playground of Hope is completed and ready for the children to enjoy.

Everyone from the Philadelphia Eagles organization was in attendance on June 4th for the actual building of our new playground.  Coach Reid, Eagles Owners Jeff Laurie and his wife, as well as all of the players arrived at 1:00 and all participated in the building of the playground.  The children of Bryant pitched in too and helped to paint the building along side the players and Eagles staff. 

The new playground includes such features as a Sprint turf, play structure, stamped concrete with custom mosaic tables for playing chess and checkers.  There also is new mural artwork both ouside and inside the building created by Bryant students in conjunction with the Philadelphia Mural Arts Program (MAP).

Events on June 4th included a live DJ, Bryant Praise Dancers, painting and landscaping. The facelift is wonderful.  Photos and a video can be viewed on the Eagles website under the Eagles Youth Partnership link.

Back to School Night

Back to School Night is Wednesday September 24th, from 5:30-7:30.  Please meet in the cafeteria.  We encourage all parents and guardians to attend.
