Free Saturday Art Classes - There are free Saturday art classes at Universal Audenried (33rd and Tasker Streets). Sessions have already started. Hour are 9:00 - 12:00 PM. Students will hav the oppurtunity to study vocal music, hip hop dance, digital photography and video, and theater. Special events for parents include nutrition workshops, computerliteracy, and job readiness. 

Education Works Sponsers Holiday Door Decorating Challenge -  Education Works is challenging the entire school to bring the holiday spirit to Alcorn. The winner recieves offical bragging rights going into the New Year as well as an invitation to the Education Works Holiday Party, December 23rd. The Challenge begins on December 12th and ends December 23rd.

Movie Night -  December 22, 2011 is Movie Night at Alcorn. More details to come!
