Our Mission

The mission of the Office of Student Enrollment and Placement is to plan, coordinate and implement the provisions of a system wide student transfer & assignment process, grades K-11, for the Voluntary Transfer Program and the NCLB School Choice Program.  To serve as a clearinghouse of information related to student transfer and admission policies and procedures and provide ongoing support to all constituents: students, parents, school staff, regional office staff, administrative office staff and the community at large.

Our Vision

  • To maintain and implement the student transfer process: Voluntary Transfer Program, NCLB School Choice and Unsafe School Choice initiatives.
  • To provide timely information dissemination and guidance regarding the range of educational program options for students, application timelines and admission procedures.
  • Provide technical assistance to parents, schools and regional staff on transfer process.
  • To improve communication with all student and parent stakeholders by providing informational materials in several languages and creating user friendly forms and letters.
  • Improve date sharing to facilitate teamwork with pertinent District staff to monitor for compliance with District and legislative mandates.
  • Continue collaboration with Information Technology to improve & streamline transfer related operational activities and productivity.
