Our strategic plan, Imagine 2014, was and continues to be informed by the students, parents, teachers, and administrators within our District as well as national experts in education.

• Student, Parent, and Instructional Staff Surveys - Every year, a comprehensive survey is given to all students, parents, teachers and principals.  The findings from these surveys continue to shape our work.

• To support Dr. Arlene Ackerman's entry into the District, a transition team of local and national educational experts was convened to create set of immediate, short-term, and long-term recommendations to guide her work.  The work of the transition team represents a summary of existing background information as well as hundreds of interviews and focus groups conducted throughout the City.

• Secondary Education Blueprint - Based on work done by the Philadelphia Education Fund, The School District of Philadelphia, and a number of other organizations, the Blueprint represents a framework and design process to guide continuous program improvement from 6th-12th grade students.
