Research in the School District of Philadelphia


All agencies, organizations, and/or individuals who wish to conduct research and/or to administer a survey to students, teachers or administrators must submit a proposal to the ORE Research Review Committee. For more information, see Conducting Research in the School District of Philadelphia.

PROTECTION OF HUMAN SUBJECTS

The Protection of Human Subjects - This is a brief overview of principles, regulations, and policies which affect research involving human subjects in research activities supported by the Department of Education

FAMILY EDUCATIONAL RIGHTS AND PRIVACY ACT 

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act and General Guidance are Federal laws that protects the privacy of student education records. The law applies to all schools that receive funds under an applicable program of the U.S. Department of Education.
