Welcome to the Office of Procurement Services

The Office of Procurement Services assists schools, academic and operational departments in obtaining quality goods and services at competitive prices from responsible suppliers in accordance with the Pennsylvania School Code and Board policies.

The office provides direction, planning and coordination of the Purchasing Division and Small Business Development Division. Within the framework provided by the Pennsylvania School Code, Article VIII, Section 801 through 810 and Board policies, it purchases supplies, furniture, equipment, textbooks, food and services when required. The office manages the Decentralized Purchasing Program and prepares and distributes certain supplies and services. Additionally, it functions as a disposal agent in selling all surplus and obsolete equipment and coordinates development of specifications as required.
