Health, Safety & Physical Education

Welcome to the Office of Health, Safety and Physical Education's web site. In our ongoing effort to provide services and support to all stakeholders in the school community, it is our intention to publish resources and current information that can be used to enhance the growth and enrichment of the students that we serve.

This site is designed to help stakeholders find information about Health, Safety and Physical Education Standards, Curriculum, Programs and Services; Procedures and Updates; and Other Programs of Enrichment.

Our web site is divided into two units, Health and Safety, and Physical Education. Please select the programs and services link to view the variety of services, contact information, standards, procedures and resources that our office offers.

The Office of Health, Safety and Physical Education is pleased to inform all of our Elementary and Middle Schools that registration for the Penn Relays is now open. We are strongly encouraging all of our schools to take advantage of this fantastic activity. Coaches click here to obtain more information about the events and to register your school.
We would also like to take this opportunity to inform all of the schools about an exciting program called School Days sponsored by the University of Pennsylvania Department of Athletics. In this program, schools will have the opportunity to attend The Penn Relays at a vastly reduced rate on Thursday, April 23, 2015 or Friday, April 24, 2015. On Thursday and Friday there will be an assembly held at the historic Palestra featuring USA Track & Field athletes that is free for all School Days participants.  In order to obtain more information about this program, please click here. This will enable you to go directly to The School Days Web Site.
