Emailing the I.T. Help Desk

When emailing the I.T. Help Desk, please be certain to enter all of your pertinent contact information as well as a complete description of your problem.  If you are contacting the I.T. Help Desk on behalf of someone else, please indicate the person’s full name and their contact information as well.  You will receive an instant reply with your incident number (Please note: sometimes the email filter may put the helpdesk emails into your Junk folder. If you do not recieve a reply, please first check your Junk Mail folder).  If you wish to request a status update or add additional information to you incident, please log into the Help Desk portal. If you are a non-SDP employee, please reply back to the auto reply that you received with your incident number and your comments will be automatically added to the incident notes.

 

Leaving a Voicemail for the I.T. Help Desk

When leaving a voicemail for the I.T. Help Desk, please be certain to speak clearly.  Please leave your full name, spell your last name and contact information as well as a complete description of your problem.  If you are contacting the I.T. Help Desk on behalf of someone else, please indicate the persons full name, spell their last name and their contact information as well.

Master Login

The Master Login is a centralized location that allows employees to log in and view their availablle Web Applications.  To access the Mater Login, go to www.philasd.org and click Login at the top of the web page.  School District employees will log in with their e-mail user name and e-mail password in the employees box.

If you do not have an e-mail address or password, you can contact the IT Help Desk at 215-400-5555

The Master Login is not were you check your School District e-mail.  You can use the Collaberation Center (Zimbra) by following this link cc.philasd.org.

  • Computing Resource User Account Creation--This policy covers the process of obtaining a new account to access The School District of Philadelphia computing resources.
  • Web Content & Style Guidelines-This document is intended for use by the staff and students of the School District of Philadelphia. It is provided as a guide toward creating accessible, useful and up-to-date web sites.
  • Non-District Employee SCN (Castor/Pollux) access--Complete this form if one of the following applies:
    • You need a new Castor/Pollux SCN account
    • You already have access for a school and need additional access for the same school under a new position or role.
    • You changed schools and need to have access at your new school.
  • District Employee SCN (Castor/Pollux) access--If you are a School District employee please use the "Technology Access Request" online application located in the master login section if one of the following applies:
    • You need a new Castor/Pollux SCN account
    • You already have access for a school and need additional access for the same school under a new position or role.
    • You changed schools and need to have access at your new school.


  • Computer Disposal Program--This form will provide you with the information needed to properly dispose of old, outdated or unusable technology hardware. Be sure to provide all the information requested, or your request for disposal pick-up may not be able to be completed.
