PLEASE NOTE: When you find an opportunity that appears to match your project goals, be sure to follow the links to the funder's site for more information. Remember, it’s critical that your project matches the funder's guidelines. If not, you’ll waste both your time and the funder’s if you submit a proposal that does not match the grantor's funding initiatives. Please remember the following three steps when preparing your grant proposal:

STEP 1:  Read all application forms and instructions to determine if the grant or award is a fit for your needs and to determine your eligibility. Pay close attention to deadlines, program requirements and restrictions.  

STEP 2: Inform your principal and OGDC that you are applying for the grant. Formal approval from the OGDC is not necessary for schools or teachers to submit grants under $20,000, unless a district level signature (CEO or CAO) is required by the funder.

STEP 3: Provide a copy of your grant to your principal and OGDC if district signatures are required, provide a copy 5-7 days BEFORE you plan to submit your grant. Make sure you allow time for obtaining any required signatures.
