About the Safety and Health Suggestion Program

The Safety and Health Suggestion Program is built specifically for employees and users of the School District of Philadelphia facilities to give voice to health and safety issues you have observed. Please follow the guidelines when submitting suggestions. Suggestions can be submitted by using the online form or by completing the paper form and sending it via Pony mail or U.S. mail. The following departments use this system to collect information which will then be acted upon:

  • Academic Areas
  • Facilities
  • Fires Safety
  • Food Service
  • Security
  • Transportation

Safety and Health Suggestion Program Guidelines

All employees and users of School District facilities are invited to participate in a Safety and Health Suggestion Program. We are particularly interested in suggestions you may have that would improve health, safety, services or reduce costs in the normal performance of our duties.

Safety and Health Suggestion Forms can be obtained from this site or from the following sources:

  • The Building Engineer at your location
  • Your supervisor or Assistant Regional Manager
  • The Facilities Training Center
Suggestions can be submitted:
  • Completing the form in writing and submitting it via Fax, U.S. mail or the School District's "Pony" system to:

Suggestions can be submitted anytime you wish. You do not need to sign or enter your name however, if you wish to receive a response, we will need a name and contact information. If your suggestion relates to a change which if followed, would save the District significant money, you might be eligible for an award offered through the City of Philadelphia’s Controller’s Office
