Facilities
Facilities consists of the following departments:
- Operations - Oversees the daily operation of all School District Facilities
- Maintenance - Schedules and performs repairs, alterations and preventative maintenance to School District facilities
- General Services Support Office (GSSO) - Provides work order management, the coordination of certificates of operation, violation tracking/corrections and warranty management
- Facilities Finance - Provides accounting, budgeting and payroll services for Facilities
- Print Shop - Primary provider of printing services
- Records Management - Maintains, records and manages student and facilities records
- Student Records- Maintains student records
- Energy Management - Manages utilities and the energy conservation program
- Use of Facilities - Schedules and organizes all request for use of School District facilities
- Contracted Services - Provides support for the 440 Education Center and contracted housekeeping services
- Real Property Management - Manages the acquisition, disposition and leasing of facilities
- Safety and Health Suggestion Program - Provides employees and users of School District facilities with a method of submitting suggestions to improve health and safety in School District facilities
- Mailroom - Facilitates the entire School District of Philadelphia’s mailing needs
- Copier Services- Provides support for all of the School District of Philadelphia's copier needs; from repairs to copier supply/toner orders and copier moving request.
