Condition of School District Employment

Please note that an employee's attendance, punctuality and performance are important factors to be considered in the selection procedure. Applicants who have been subjected to disciplinary action or who have documented records of unsatisfactory work performance may not be appointed from the eligible list established as a result of this examination.

All new hires must have a PA Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse Background Check, an FBI Clearance and a completed Physical Form.  To obtain an FBI clearance go to www.pa.cogentid.com.

Teachers applying for second certification, please complete second certification form and attach a copy of certification before submitting.

We are currently only reviewing applications for candidates who hold an active Instructional I/II or PA Intern certificate in the following subjects:

• Mathematics 7-12
• Sciences (Chemistry, Physics) 7-12
• Elementary Education - Bilingual ONLY (Spanish, Russian, Cambodian/Khmer, Chinese/Mandarin) K-6
• Candidates who hold dual certification in:
  • English/Social Studies 7-12
  • Middle Level Math/Middle Level Science 7-9  
• Speech Language Impaired
• Hearing Impaired
• Elementary/Secondary School Counselor - Bilingual ONLY
