As part of our policy and procedure, the Office of Curriculum, Instruction and Professional Development (OCIP) continually reviews, analyzes, and construes federal and state laws and regulations for K-12 Education.

The School District of Philadelphia sends curriculum staff from OCIP as representatives to be active members on various curriculum review panels for the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
