Federal and State Laws and Regulations for K-12 Education

As part of our policy and procedure, the Office of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment (OCIA) continually reviews, analyzes, and construes federal and state laws and regulations for K-12 Education.

The School District of Philadelphia sends curriculum staff from OCIA as representatives to be active members on various curriculum review panels for the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Marking Guidelines

Note: Based on feedback from schools, the Marking Guidelines have been reformatted for ease of use.
