The goals of the Health Cluster are to provide students with career awareness, exploration, post-secondary and healthcare industry pipelines.  Students can earn industry-recognized certifications, foundational knowledge and technical skills that are transferable in any healthcare profession such as communication, teamwork, safety, anatomy and physiology, and medical terminology.  Additionally, students receive 1080 hours of academically rigorous career specific instructions with integrated math, sciences and technology, reading, writing and listening, and career and work academic standards.  Industry experiences and work-based learning opportunities are offered through our many partnerships with hospitals, dental and medical offices, nursing homes, health worker unions and other healthcare institutions.  

Programs offered are Dental Assisting, Emergency Medical Technology, Health Professions and Related Clinical Sciences, Health Information Management, Medical Assisting and Pharmacy Technology.  Every student will become CPR/First Aid/ AED certified.  Students can also earn Electronic Medical Records, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.), Dental Assistant, Medical Assistant  and Pharmacy Technician Certifications.
