The Office of Classification and Compensation is currently finalizing a Compensation Manual detailing our office's services, policies, and procedures.  Once the manual is completed, it will be posted and made available here on our website.  Stay tuned for Policies and Procedures related to:

Use of Retirees for EC activities

The policy and procedures around hiring retired employees of the District (EC-313/316) are in summary:

1.  Position must be posted at the location and on the School District website.
2.  A signed copy of the posting and the "use of retiree checklist form" (new) must be submitted with the 313/316.
3.  Cannot hire a retired employee unless there are no qualified non-annuitants (not retired)that applied for the position.
4.  Candidate cannot start prior to an approved 313/316 and proper clearances.
