Secondary Robotics Initiative

What Is SRI?

The Secondary Robotics Initiative (SRI) is the largest urban research based middle and high school robotics program in the county.  It serves as a science, technology, engineering, and (mathematics, STEM) multidisciplinary learning vehicle for 6th-12th grade students.  Students are engaged in STEM challenges, competitions, tournaments, symposiums and institutes throughout the year.  Schools are paired with industry and university professionals to introduce them to state of the art technological projects and concepts.  SRI serves over 450 underrepresented students yearly.
