About College Awareness

The Division of College Readiness works efficiently to prepare our students for postsecondary education success.  We provide avenues that are geared toward stimulating a thirst for education in our students and assist them to seek out resources and opportunities. 

Our office encourages, promotes facilitates:

• P/SAT and ACT taking for all 10^th / 11^th  graders
• Professional development for high school counseling staff as it relates to college and career access and preparation
• City-wide college fairs such as Historically Black College and University Fair, 2 Year College, Trade and Tech School Fair, PaSSHE Joint Recruitment Fair and National College Fair
• Summer programs at colleges and universities for District Students
