Citywide Student GovernmentThe Citywide Student Government (CWSG) consists of representatives from high schools across the city. It has led a number of initiatives to improve the quality of education for Philadelphia's students and the quality of life for Philadelphia residents.

School-Based Student GovernmentThe purpose of School-Based and Citywide Student Government (CWSG) shall be to serve its electorate, to work to secure understanding within each particular school and the citywide high school community. In addition, student government looks to promoting the growth and the development of the institution.
Adult Sponsor: Every school must have as assigned student government sponsor to help oversee the implementation and operations of school and citywide government initiatives. School-Based Student Government: Shall represent the student body at their respective school. Each high school has a student government that collectively identifies issues within the school they would like to address. There shall be an Executive Board that will consist of the following positions:
* Documentation of elections must be submitted to the Student Leadership Coordinator no later than the second week of October every year.
Requirements for School-Based and Citywide Student Governments
Academic Requirements: Members of Student Government must have either a 2.5 Grade Point Average for the semester previous to school elections or a cumulative GPA of 2.5. Members holding office must maintain a 3.0 GPA. Disciplinary Requirements: Members may not have any disciplinary problems within the preceding two academic years. Disciplinary problems may include but are not limited to suspension, expulsion, or any violation of the School District's Code of Conduct. Student Government Membership Requirements: Members must also be a member of their high school's individual Student Government. No exceptions will be made. WHERE CAN I GET MORE INFORMATION?
