Accountability

Welcome

 

The Office of Accountability is primarily responsible for:

  • Monitoring and reporting on the performance of schools and District support functions, including analyses and reporting of annual Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) and Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) results;
  • Reporting student achievement and demographic data to multiple audiences such as central offices, schools and regions, the State and federal governments, and the public;
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of the District's academic initiatives and grant-funded programs;
  • Ensuring equal access to education for all children;
  • Collaborating with the District's Office of Information Technology and outside vendors in the design and maintenance of district data systems.
